Sea Blossom at Westhampton Fair

The Westhampton Arts and Craft Festival was held last week in perfect weather - cool, breezy, sunny - I couldn't have asked for more!  Both Nautical Soaps and Natural Soaps were big sellers, and Lemon Meadow Lotion won out in the lotion department.

Sweet Dreams Body Butter Creme - NEW

Sweet Dreams Body Butter Creme is the newest product I'm making with this fabulous scent.  Can't get enough of it. It's an all natural blend of Lavender Essential Oil and Vanilla Essential Oil. I think the combination is better than each would be separately.

So I put it in my Body Butter Creme. If you have dry skin this creme will save your skin!  I make it with everything you need for relief - 10% Shea Butter, Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Oil, and Calendula Extract (Calendula is a healing herb) for extra soothing power.  And despite my love for the fragrance, I don't put too much in the creme so you don't need to worry about "wearing" too much scent.

Making the creme was easy, but getting the picture up on my website took a while due to technical difficulties.  But now it's finally there!  Check it out - Sweet Dreams Body Butter Creme.

I can't go a day without using this creme, and now that I've got it in Sweet Dreams, it's even more heavenly to use.  I hope you think so too.

Lotion Fragrance - What's the difference?

Oohing and aahing as they try on my Hand and Body Lotion at craft fairs, customers often ask lots of questions about it, particularly about the fragrance, so here's the scoop -

My four handmade Sea Blossom lotions are the same except for the fragrance.  Two are scented with Essential Oils, two with Fragrance Oils.  Essential Oils are distilled directly from botanical plants and are a pure, natural plant product.  Fragrance Oils are artificially produced and may or may not contain some actual Essential Oil. Some people have sensitivities to one or the other (if you are allergic to a plant, don't use its Essential Oil) but most of us do just fine with either one, or a mixture.  Sea Blossom products are labeled clearly as scented with Essential Oil or Fragrance Oil so you can know which you are choosing.

I like to fragrance my lotions lightly, just enough so you can enjoy the scent as you put it on, but so it disappears as the lotion absorbs into your skin.  That way you are not "wearing" it all day long.  And you can use a lot of lotion if needed without "stinking."

Sometimes Essential Oils are a little bit stronger, so I would say my Lemon Meadow Lotion has the strongest scent, followed by Lavender.  Lightest are White Tea & Ginger, and Ocean Breeze, which are Fragrance Oils. I think Ocean Breeze is lightest of all, definitely a unisex scent.  But every nose is different, so your experience may be different.
